    Make the tape extra strong. I've destroyed many diapers because of weak tape.

    I'm sure it would take a lot of trial and error but I'd work on getting the 'insides' of the diapers just right so they hold everything all night. :)

    I would add a second layer/wall to the backside for night time diapers to catch the inevitable leaks that seep through the first layer.

    I would create a filtration system for poo-because you can't always smell poo when you're sleeping, so if your kid poops in his sleep, he'll have a rash in the a.m.

    The only issue I have with Pampers is the tape tabs.
    I would try to find a better solution, because they tend to tear off easily.

    I never had any problems with pampers diapers - when it came to my son waking up because of them. Maybe we were just lucky. The only thing i can think of is keeping them soft on the inside so theres no itching...

    I would make them absorb odor better somehow and maybe make them a little softer so babies sleep more comfy at night.
