ENDED Giveaway: Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover Gel Cleaner

Keeping the shower walls clean is an ongoing struggle, and I'm always looking for products to make the job easier. The harsh fumes of most mold and mildew removing cleaning products are so harsh, and I find myself needing to use a ton of product because it's watery and quickly runs down the wall.

What sets new Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Remover Gel Cleaner apart from other products meant for the same purpose is that it's a spray on gel. This means that it's thicker than regular spray cleansers, and sticks to the surface. Also, because it's thicker, it doesn't spray all over the place and run down the wall as quickly. It does still have the bleach odor I associate with mold and mildew removers, but it doesn't smell as strong and harsh. Normally, with other products, I feel like I have to plug my nose and hold my breath so I don't pass out from the fumes, but this one is not like that at all. I think that might be partly because it doesn't have the fine, misty overspray typical of spray cleaners that are not gels.

To use Soft Scrub Mold & Mildew Stain Remover Gel Cleaner, just spray it on and wipe off with a damp cloth. I found it to work well, without requiring excessive scrubbing.

If you love Soft Scrub products, or you'd like to try something new, I have a great giveaway to offer you! One MichiGal reader will win 3 full size Soft Scrub products of her choice! U.S. only, use the Rafflecopter form to enter. Good luck!

Disclosure: As a Purex Insider, I have received free product in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.

ENDED Soft Scrub Total: Review & Giveaway

Total All Purpose Cleaner With BleachCleaning is such a monotonous chore, so I really dig products that make the job easier. Soft Scrub is one brand that always works well for me, so I was pleased to have the opportunity to review a new household cleaner, Soft Sc
rub Total All Purpose Cleaners. The name says it all: soft = gentle, scrub = getting down to the nitty gritty. In essence Soft Scrub does what I need it to do with minimal effort on my part. Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaners are spray cleaners with two trigger options: fine mist or thick foam. It says on the bottle that they even spray upside down, and it's true, they really do. I tried the Soft Scrub Total All Purpose with bleach, and the Total Bath and Bowl. Both have been working great, and they smell good too. There is also a lemon scented Total All Purpose available.

Right now, Soft Scrub is running the Tough and Gentle Sweepstakes. The grand prize is $1000, and there are 50 second prizes of $40 in gift cards! If you'd like to enter, just click HERE. Easy peasy!

And, if you'd like to try these new Soft Scrub cleansers for yourself, I have good news for you! I am giving one lucky winner 3 FREE bottles of Soft Scrub! That way you can try all three kinds of Soft Scrub Total All Purpose. Just use the Rafflecopter form below to enter! Contest is open to U.S. residents only.

Soft Scrub provided me with complimentary Soft Scrub products. All opinions are my own.

Confession Time: I Don't Make My Bed

Yep, that's right. I admit it. I don't make my bed, pretty much ever. Think of me what you will. The only time my bed ever gets made is on the rare occasion when we're having company and my bedroom happens to be clean enough to leave the door open. In other words, hardly ever.

It gets worse. Sometimes I go to bed with dishes in the sink. Like most nights. I do not lose sleep over the unwashed pots and pans. Should I? Nah, definitely not worth it.

While I'm at it, I may as well keep going and confess that at least once a week I forget about laundry in the washing machine and have to re-wash it. I do hate waste so this is one I'm trying hard to not do anymore. Which means restraining myself from tossing in just one more load of laundry past midnight.

I did not get that clean freak gene I've heard others talk about. Sometimes I wish I did. Other times I really don't care because let's be honest here, cleaning is not generally in the forefront of my consciousness.

There are times, lots and lots of times, when I feel positively overwhelmed by everything that needs to get done around here. I don't know where to begin. I feel like I'm juggling a million balls and they're falling down all around me. I'm pretty sure life would be much simpler in a Mexican beach shack.
