Help Support Boys & Girls Club of America - It Won't Cost You a Cent!

Way back in 1860, three women saw the need for a safe place for young boys to hang out, as opposed to wondering the streets and making trouble. Today, the organization these ladies founded to fit the needs of those boys is known as Boys & Girls Club of America. These clubs serve over 4 million children in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and military bases around the world, helping them stay safe while learning and having fun.

Now Boys and Girls Clubs of America, together with Comcast and Microsoft, is raising awareness about the importance of digital literacy in today's world, where technology is infiltrating every aspect of our lives. Kids are learning things like engineering, graphic design, photography, and more, while participating in Club Tech. What the kids are able to accomplish and create with the skills they're learning is being featured in the Faces of the Future Showcase.

Here's the part where YOU can help. Just head over to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Facebook page and "like" them. For every 10 likes, a club member will receive a copy of Microsoft Office 2010. It's that easy. Just click "like" and then maybe share it to your page so your friends can do it too. Let's help them reach their goal of 35,000 Facebook fans, and help kids learn to do great things with the aid of modern technology.

"Disclosure: I was entered for a chance to win a gift card in exchange for this post.  No monetary exchange took place. I believe that what the Boys and Girls Clubs of America do for kids is important, and a cause worth sharing."
