My RoC Challenge Has Come To An End

My RoC Look 10 Years Younger Challenger has officially come to an end. To recap, over 12 weeks ago I started using RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream each night before going to sleep. All in hopes of looking 10 years younger in just 12 weeks.

Before

Basically, I love this product. To be honest, I don't think I'd say that I now look 10 years younger. However, it has most definitely erased lines in my face. I do think my skin looks better and more youthful, but I don't know about 10 years more youthful. My skin feels smoother and softer. The challenge is over, but I will continue to use RoC Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.

12 Weeks

Since some people do have a sensitivity to retinol, it might be a good idea to start off slow, using a small amount of the cream a few times a week. I happen to have pretty hardy skin so I started off using it full force from day one. A few times I noticed some minimal irritation (tenderness, minor blemishes), but nothing major at all, and never enough to make me reconsider using it. The good news is that RoC carries a milder formula for more sensitive skin. If you decide the start the challenge for yourself, you may want to consider using the sensitive night cream first, and when that is gone, then moving on to the regular formula.

I would recommend RoC Deep Wrinkle Night Cream without hesitation, because it works! I'd like to thank RoC and SheSpeaks for providing me with the opportunity to try a product that has now become a permanent fixture of my nighttime routine.

RoC Challenge Update

It's now been 8 weeks since I began using RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. I have been faithfully applying it every night after I wash my face, and have probably only skipped 3 or 4 nights total.


Here's what I think so far:

8 Weeks

• This product has caused very mild irritation for me. Once in awhile, a little tenderness that doesn't last long, and a few more zits than normal. But nothing major.
• I love the consistency of it. Not greasy at all, doesn't leave my face feeling oily, goes on nice and smooth, and plus has a nice light scent.
• I have definitely noticed a difference in the fine lines on my face. The stuff works people!

There are still 4 weeks left in the challenge. I am hoping to see more changes for sure, plus my supply is going to last me much longer so I will keep using it for as long as I can. Do I look 10 years younger? Umm I don't think so, but I am so not good at judging how old people look, least of all myself. And whether I look younger or not, I do see a positive difference in how my skin looks. 


A couple things:

• Be really careful with it near your eyes, it will burn if it gets in your eyes!
• Make sure you use sunscreen. I use a moisturizer with an SPF 15 every single day and have been in the sun a lot. I know products containing retinol can make you more susceptible to sunburn, but since I've been careful I've not had a problem with this at all.
• If you notice a lot of irritation, start out lightly applying the cream a couple times a week and gradually add more days and more cream as your face gets use to it.
• One of my Life List items, #23 to be exact, is to get in the habit of washing my face every night. Finally, this dream is coming to fruition, thanks to this challenge!

RoC Look 10 Years Younger Challenge - Week 4 Update

I'm a few days late on my RoC update. In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm taking part in the RoC Look 10 Years Younger Challenge by 
using their Deep Wrinkle Night Cream every night for 12 weeks. One of the best things about this challenge so far is that it has pushed me to reach my goal of washing my face every night before bed, something that I'm typically so lazy about. Hopefully by the time the 12 weeks is up, not only will I look 16 again but I'll also have this new face-washing habit deeply engrained in my psyche.

Before I started the Roc challenge

I seem to be missing week 2. But anyway, I think we've established by now that my camera takes craptastic pictures, these are all taken with my phone or my iPod and they don't fare much better. They give you an idea but not the clearest picture. What I've noticed so far is that the lines in my forehead are beginning to fade. The ones by my eyes bother me the most, and I haven't noticed as much of a change in that area yet, but heck I'll take forehead wrinkle erasure any day of the week. I still have 8 weeks left, so I'm hoping there are lots more drastic changes ahead.

Quick RoC Challenge Update

Three weeks ago, I started the RoC Look 10 Years Younger Challenge, in conjunction with SheSpeaks. I've been using the RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream every night before I go to bed. Within 12 weeks, I should look 10 years younger!

I'm Taking The RoC Challenge, To Look 10 Years Younger! Plus Coupons

Back in February, I celebrated my 36th birthday. Most of my life I have been mistaken for someone much younger, but now that I'm getting to be a bona fide old lady, I've sadly been getting lots of gray hair (must do something about that - soon!) and I'm noticing new and annoying facial features, such as crow's feet.
