Review: NatureBox

Subscription-boxes-NatureBox
Subscription boxes are a fun new trend that allow consumers to try a myriad of products that they otherwise might not have purchased or even heard of on their own. I enjoying trying new things, so I think it's a really neat idea! When NatureBox contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in trying out their box, I was really excited! NatureBox sends out five full-size packages of healthy snacks every month. Since I love natural, healthy products, and I love snacks, this was a perfect fit for me!

My first impression of my NatureBox was that it was neatly packaged and came with a colorful, informative product info card. Right away I thought that all of my snacks looked really tasty! Since I'm restricting my calories right now, I decided to try one snack a day, but it was hard to refrain from ripping open all of the packages and sampling everything immediately!

Now that I've tried everything, I can confirm my suspicions: everything in my box is delicious! Here's what I had:

Wild Berry Bunch - an assortment of dried berries. Sweet and so good, perfect with a salad or on their own.
Cranberry Almond Bites - crunchy rice squares. They look a little like square rice cakes, but the almonds give them a much more savory and satisfying flavor.
Orange Crush Granola - subtly flavored granola, perfect with yogurt or milk.
Masa Crisps - a cross between a cracker and a mini chip, these are great for satisfying a salty/crunchy craving. I've been enjoying mine with hummus!
Lone Star Snack Mix - a mixture of almonds, cashews, and peanuts with mesquite seasonings. This was my favorite item in my NatureBox! The combination of the nuts with the seasoning is delicious, and not over-powering in the least.

My information card also includes a recipe that utilizes two of the snacks (Berries & Cream Oatmeal - sounds fantastic!) and NatureBox social media links. The recipe is a nice feature, and it is nice to have all the links in one place. From the card, I've also learned that NatureBox donates one meal for every box sold to hungry American children in need. I love a company that gives back!

I keep seeing them in my Facebook feed and wanted to check them out, so glad to see this review. Can't believe it's only $20. That seems so reasonable!
