Thankful Thursday

I  try to make time every single day to be thankful, and to write about gratitude at least once a week here on the 'ol blog. I invite you to join me, and to leave a comment either here or on my Facebook page telling me what you are thankful for this week.

I am thankful that we are working out our transportation needs while Chris's new car debacle gets ironed out. I won't even go there, because then I will begin feeling something a little less than gratitude.

I am thankful for a good 3-year check up for Mathilda this morning, although she does have a mild respiratory infection. (Also thankful for nebulizers!)

I am thankful that Bethany gets to head out of town with a friend this weekend, and that her friend's mom is so generous for letting her daughter bring a friend on vacation with them.

I am thankful that we had a nice birthday dinner for Mattie last weekend.

I am thankful that I didn't get stuck at jury duty all week.

I am thankful that Connor has been able to spend some quality time with friends lately, because that poor kid is exposed to way too much estrogen on a day-to-day basis.

I am thankful that all of the dates for our big road trip are falling perfectly into place.

I am thankful that my dog doesn't even flinch when Mattie climbs all over her. She's neurotic, but she really is the sweetest dog.

I am thankful for the 3 1/2 day weekend coming up.

I am thankful that Bethany is really excited to start middle school.

I am thankful that I get to go on a field trip with Bethany's class next week. And thankful that I can pretty much always get either my mom or Chris's mom to babysit for stuff like that.
